No, I don’t think it’s about gloating. Seeing how your mates went gives you the opportunity to congratulate them on a beer that may not have placed but scored well. And if they didn’t score well you just keep quiet cause we’ve all brewed a few crookies over the years.

That’s a shame that not everyone will be named. It’s always interesting to see how others went

Any word on who is judging what?

For bottling I use the pressure attachment to gently transfer the beer to a bottling bucket where I bulk prime.

Pete, just to clarify No straight American IPA (Cat 21A) just the Specialties? It’s 2 entries per style not Group? Maybe add the judging date to the Wixsite? Col

I also see from the Comp summary that a bunch of English beers won the Standard American Beer category stouts won the German wheat beer category American IPA's won British Beer Sours won the Scottish Ale Belgians won the Irish beer etc bloody etc I despair

I have got 2 tick & flick sheets from the same judge for 2 different entries. Maybe one is in relation to my beer but how would I know? I was expecting 3 sheets from 3 judges with quality feedback. None of that so far.

Judging is on tomorrow at Wayward! We have about 120 entries so should be finished by lunch time. Hope we can get results up quickly and scoresheets out next week. Good luck to all!
