I don't need to swap the caps. Just bought heaps of snap in tyre valves and fitting.
My method chill in freezer>air out>40 psi>shake maybe 1 min>freezer to settle>gob.
Your issue maybe swapping the cap not sure.
Good stepping stone to kegging for guys on a budget I use with sodastream setup...
Chappo's thread on Ginger beer is the best

Not smooth though big hot ginger flavour hit in the face!
Only been in Czech Republic for the Budvar and Pilsener Urqell tour.
Although Urquell is a shadow of its former self, they let you sample the old
recipe from an oak barrell...Heaven!!!
I drive my Crankenstein mill with a torx bit on my drill as I have done for a couple of years.
Today the mill was kicking back into the drill and not drawing grain from the hopper.
I lubed the bearings but it still happened. There were metal filings on the bit.
Any ideas?
This worked for me. I used a small metal skewer but a needle would be better to not distort the braid.
No more bag squeezing for us! Is my hose too long?
Just a little cutie pie!
I unscrewed the U shaped freezer and bent it down to the back.
I need to cut out half an inch on each side of shelf slots/insulation to fit 2 kegs.
Any issues?
