I did try that, I had the donor keg hooked up directly to the gas bottle, it didn't matter, the beer wouldn't flow. My only thought is that is a blockage or some issue with the liquid to liquid connection? I don't know.

I see your point however I'd say that panic buying toilet roll is "dramatic". The calculated mortality rate is based on reported cases. The actual cases is likely to be a fair bit higher thus reducing the mortality rate.

Am I missing something or does it all seem a bit over blown with lots of media hysteria? You are only going to die if you are old and/ or have some existing health issue. The mortality rate is more than the flu but not dramatically so.

Hey bee2gee Your iSpindel is still working wonders but I was about to use it today and I got lucky and noticed that the lid has split (see attached) before I put it in contact with any liquid. So, any ideas where I can buy a replacement lid for the ispindel you make up? Thanks

Yes, ok. Thanks. I have an ispindel which works well so I only take the one reading right at the end before keg transfer to get an accurate FG. Do you have it under pressure from day 1 of the fermentation or do you only close it part way through?
