This thread is clearly about brewery automation. It's really not the place to waltz in and take a swing about how much better the manual process is... In the meantime, I'm enjoying the stainless beauty!

I appreciate freedom of speech etc, but when those views are ill-founded and potentially damaging to someone's reputation (business or otherwise) it starts getting dangerous. The fact that the mud slingers get to slink back to Internet anonymity and the retailer has to wear it very publicly...

It's a worry that an internet forum can get so powerful. John has built a reputation over nearly 20 years in the industry (I've only been buying from him for 4 of those), so to see his reputation potentially damaged because of a few wayward posts is a shame. Let's hope those with loose lips...

It's just pushed past 40 degrees here in Melbourne (although the thermometer in the backyard says 45). And I chose today to take a day off and brew...! I couldn't waste a day, so I mashed in at 7:30 and I've just put 40 litres of APA in cubes. Holy crap, if it's 45 out the back, then I wonder...

That's random! Perhaps part of a Bender costume...? I've had better results using pellets in tea balls than plugs, but I'm pretty sure that's just because the plugs don't have enough room to expand and be exposed to the beer. SWMBO doesn't have any stockings worthy of keg use, so it looks...

Same here SJW. We're sans pool, but I have a wife who's always too cold/hot, so the reverse-cycle runs constantly... :angry: Biggest quarterly bill ever was less than $300...

Say no more... I've got one of those, lovely as they are, they're bloody expensive! Always "too cold" or "too hot"...!
