    Good vintage.

    Old beer tap. Any good?

I'm honestly not concerned about the outcome of the brew. Just feel like it deserves a proper send off.

    Old beer tap. Any good?

Cool! Thanks mate appreciate it. Was trying to google it and find images but was coming up with nothing. I will definitely get the seal kit. Considering the can of extract old mate gave me with the other stuff expired in 2007 it might need it. What do yas reckon? Brew the tin for shit and...

    Old beer tap. Any good?

Just picked up a kegerator package for $50 but I really only wanted the kegs. It's got this tap on the front, I'm pretty new but I've never seen one like it. Are they considered forward sealing? Worth holding on to? Cheers.

    Old Waeco CF80 to kegerator.

I have made a matching BBQ since but I haven't finished that either. I can cook meat and drink beer though!

    Old Waeco CF80 to kegerator.

Ok so summer is over and I can safely say that an old waeco fridge will keep 3 kegs of your beer cold, even with a leaking collar made from chipboard. I haven't actually got round to building a proper insulated collar as yet. The biggest efficiency gains I got were from wiring in an ST1000 as a...

Next step after a basic kit - fill in the blanks for me.

Seems like a lot of people use the home brand as extra malt in toucan recipes and it's reportedly made in the coopers factory anyway from what I read here. So I'm thinking I might go: Home brand Lager. Coopers European Lager. 500g ldme. 50g Cascade at 10 minutes. Ferment in my new...

Next step after a basic kit - fill in the blanks for me.

Just starting out here, I have done two basic kits to get my feet wet. I just followed instructions, used sugar, fermented at 25 degrees and made all the other usual mistakes. I have learned a bit from them and wanna go the next level up now so I'm guessing that's gonna be a toucan with some...

    Old Waeco CF80 to kegerator.

Cheers mate, I'm gonna go with the Nukataps just to get me going. Couldn't be too bad for the money. I will start on the circulation fans this week I think. I had a flu and can't actually leave the house at the moment because I'm waiting on a covid test result to go back to work. That's...

    Old Waeco CF80 to kegerator.

Yeah it's working really well right now. Beer is bloody freezing and the compressor barely cycles. That's with a chipboard collar and no insulation. Trouble is I really need cold beer in the summer not the winter and just because it's working well today at 23 degrees it could be a whole...

    Old Waeco CF80 to kegerator.

I'm planning on flush mounting the drip tray, framing the shelf in black trim as well as the backboard section. The area that the battery is sitting in will be shelving. Will try and get some castors or some wheels to make it easier to move around fully loaded. I got the font, drip tray and...

    Old Waeco CF80 to kegerator.

I made a little progress today. Decided to build it into a kind of barbie bench. Made this thing out of scrap and some pallets I grabbed from work. Stained it and oiled it with a hardwood wax. Came up surprisingly good. I'm no carpenter by any means but I enjoyed the work. I only got the heat...
