    I agree with the above. At any one time the water can vary considerably, depending on how the system is setup at the time. Rezoning is common place. A general idea of what can be expected from the water is all you should worry about - i would not try and split hairs...

    brewing again this weekend. It has been a long time between drinks - i have not brewed for at least 4 months :o :ph34r: I think i will brew a nice and simple APA. Can't wait, i have missed the smell of malt and hops on the boil :wub:

    i noticed the change teh last time i had the amber (about a month ago). To me it tasted like it had been fermented with wlp023. slight apple and pear in the background. i enjoyed it - but i love wlp023.

    Doc, just speak to any fridgies you know, they usually are able to get their hands on panels that are being scrapped quite easily. Trying ringing a local fridgie - or if you have no luck i can ask a mate of mine for you.

    I can remember reading an article about breweries doing research into the same thing. Having yeast line ceramic cells lining the ferment chamber to increase the contact with the wort. Good idea but not a new one..
