I've used clothes line like that successfully for a while now, not had any slide down. Might be a concern if it gets wet maybe, never really thought that would be a problem.

@count-ant I have one of those, I managed to cut some silicone hose that came with my little brown pump and put this on the chiller inlet/outlet and then jam the garden hose over this. Needed some good hose clamps as my outlet hose was too long and the back pressure blew off my hose on the out...

Yeah I've got mine set up with the hose over the dip tube and over the tube on the float, pushing it inside is incorrect. @The Punt you need to watch the keg king youtube vids that explain how to set up the fermentasaurus because it sounds like your doing that part wrong, not that it matters now...

@mondestrunken thanks mate! Yeah I've just got some of that weeper hose in the pots hooked up to the retic thats doing my fruit trees at the same time. I'm getting some burrs so fingers crossed for a few flowers this year!

These are all second year, got stuck in too much shade last year so didn't do well. Going better this year.
