    Morgans 30 ltr fermenter

Thanks for your wisdom Feldon, I have actually tried using clingwrap before, but wanted to persist with the lid and airlock. I will step out of my comfort zone and try the clingwrap for a time, will be much easier than trying to unscrew that lid... Cheers.

    Morgans 30 ltr fermenter

Hi all, I have 2 Morgan's 30 ltr fermenters. I have had trouble since they were new getting them to seal, to make the airlock bubble. So for the last 2 years I have been tightening the crap out of them to the point I struggle to undo them when time for kegging. Have I been overnighting them...

    Flip Top Bottles

Thanks Drubbing, good to know. We're S/E qld so this time of year it's definitely not too cool in his downstairs laundry/storage area. I intend to visit his place next week and test one for myself to see if it was just a one bottle issue... Thanks for your reply.

    Flip Top Bottles

Hi, my brother bought me a brand new box of "Mangrove Jack's Flip Top Bottles" from my local home brew shop. I have never used Flip top bottles before. Only normal tallies, both PET and glass. I sanitised and filled his brand new Flip Top Tallies with a new brew, added the usual 2 x Carbonation...

    Hello

I have only been home brewing for 12 months, but have been advised by some long time brewers, you need a minimum of 6 weeks for home brew in bottles, before they are ready...? Cheers.

Time before drinking kegged American IPA

Hi Coreysan, My freshly filled keg sits in the fridge and chills for a week while I drink the 2nd keg. When my drinking keg gets low, I force carbonate my chilled keg by pressurise to 30psi for 24/28hrs. Time to force carbonate does vary between varieties of beers. After 24/28 hrs I drop My...

Fermenter bubbling after 19 day ferment

Hi all in the home brew world. I have only started home brewing beer since December 2021. I would consider my self a moderate consumer of beer... I record quantities, alcohol readings and qualities of each brew, so I know I am about to keg my 12th brew. And I gotto say... why the Hell have I...
