    Better flavour from bottle, than keging it..

    we always drain off the first running out of the fermenter. ie about 200 ml. From there we bottle, two or three longys and then we keg. at the arse end of the fermenter we bottle sum more so we dont get any sludge in the kegs.

    ahhhh... i forgot to add. the flavour of the hops that is! Much more hop flavour that is out of a bottle than a keg..

    Not enough fizz in kegs!

    Have you tryed a carb stone? Kegking I think sell em with a attached lid for corneys. Do you carb down the liquid post? I've just carbed a keg down the out post for 2 days at 25psi and it's lacking bubbles. Going back to carb her sum more. Some brews I find such as pale ales don't need so much...

    46 ltr batch brew

    gday we have been doing 23ltr bactches with our all grain setup.. question is that when we double our ingrediants it aint the same as our 23ltr batch. any hints or tips on how to fix this? we can brew a perfect beer using 4 kilo s of grain. but once we up it to 8 kilos. it aint the same any idea?

    good work yob! im a person who likes his shit correct. I hate companys that take a product and repack it. And claim it as their own. Sure enough, it mayb from the same company.but i like the orignal packinging to say its straight from the factory and direct to the client! :beerdrink:
