I bought my 50lt Braumeister from MHB 11 years ago, I have done shitloads of brews since then. Never have a problem with it, I've heard things about the new models but I'm very happy with mine. The older models had a small problem with the tap dripping when hot, that's why many changed them out.

I live without town water, so that means tank water only. I don't filter it, I drink it, brew with it, shower in it or anything else. Done this since I was a kid. Don't need tampons either.

I have the 50lt and the boil was a bit howdy doody, now with a jacket and the stainless hood (both original Braumeister) I have to use FermCap AT antifoam to stop boil overs.
