OK got me a couple of King Kegs, spare bags and picnic pump, will be ready to fill the first keg next week. Can you please let me know what else I will need, or better still start another thread on King Kegs with step by step instructions with the Kin Keg please.
I have a precision Braume glass hydrometer, cost almost as much as the Hydrom tested mine today and both hydrometers match density. Just ordered another Hydrom, well pleased.
I haven't seen any animosity towards Keg Land? As for grenade throwing the whole idea is to let the damn thing go not let it blow up in ones face. Which certainly happened here.
I purchased my Hydrom today. Now looking forward to using it.
Am I worried about the screw thread on the Hydrom? Of course not, how many of us here have, or have in the past fermented in a HDPE fermenter or bucket with a screw in tap or tap with a nut on the inside. I would say most did, did it...
I have, well he came around and saw mine. He admitted it was superior to his, in saying that he did have a lot of problems with his from the start. Could just have been a one off I don't know.
I have got the XL went for the stainless top too, I can highly recommend it. I haven't got both but a mate of mine has the X, I can go and check his out against mine and give an update.
