    The Flying Horse Brewery

That'd be right. My plan was to visit yesterday (Sunday), but the missus dragged me straight home after the kids festival because she was late for work. I didn't mind too much because we had booked in for tea on Wednesday. <_< I suppose it's a good sign for you guys that the beer is selling...

    The Flying Horse Brewery

Nice. I'll be tonguing for a decent beer after enduring a day at the Fun4Kids Festival on Sunday. The timing couldn't be better. I may even sneak in on Saturday if I can find an excuse to get to town. Good luck with the opening. Bagnol

    The Flying Horse Brewery

I remember back when the sign read "Opening November". It must be a real PITA to have all that shiny equipment sitting idle. I'm looking forward to finally trying the brews. Has there been any talk of a 'Grand Opening' bash?

    Beer Glasses... Where To Buy?

The best place to stock up on beer glasses (if you can live without the logos), is a catering supplies shop. They generally have a large range, and are relatively cheap. I recently bought 2 dozen 15oz conicals for $18. I noticed the bar_gear store on ebay sells two of these with guinness...

    The Flying Horse Brewery

Gerard and the Flying Horse Brewery got a good write up in the local rag today. See here. I was planning on giving this show a wide berth, but I may have to nick in for a couple of samplers. Cheers Bagnol

    Fermenting In A Corelius Keg

Not necessarily. A piece of hose slipped over the end of the liquid out tube and run a couple of inches up the opposite side of the keg does the job. I do this when I (rarely) naturally carbonate. Cheers Bagnol

    Beer Log Software.

I use Beersmith. Brewsta is freeware and Australian. This link has some useful info. Cheers Bagnol

    The Flying Horse Brewery

Great to here things are moving along there Gerard. I'm generally out that way once or twice a week and have been keeping a very keen eye on the building progress. It looked as though things had stalled there for a while. Any elaboration on the 4 beers? I figure the pilsner is self explanitory...

    Carlton Dry Fusion

It's obvious the CUB marketing department called it "Carlton Dry Fusion", because they thought that "Watered Down Shandy" wouldn't sell.

    Computer Display Brewing Temps.

Try here. I have made a few changes to the program since I created the setup file. When I get some spare time, I'll post an updated one. Cheers Bagnol

    Bl**dy Heatpads....

I done the same thing many years ago, however the pad was on the floor. I woke up in the middle of the night to the screaching sound of a smoke alarm. It had burnt through the carpet and made a start on the floor boards. Needless to say, I gave it the arse real quick.

What Was Your Staple Beer "before" Hb

Country Victoria = Melbourne Bitter. Loved it pre homebrew, love it now. I grew up drinking this beer and it is still a staple in my fridge. Cheers Bagnol

Linux Temp Logging Program On Windoze?

Hi Jez My windows based program for this kit is draws heavily from the code of Greg's FreeBSD program. It has the ability to control the oztronics relay board, but this ablility can be deactivated by unticking the heating and cooling boxes in the options dialog. You don't need to have the relay...
