amber Ale

For context,

I added a cube of over gravity amber ale to my brew bucket and poured 5L of water in to bring it to the correct SG, then I added the yeast and Tilt without mixing. So the Tilt registered an OG of 1.012 due to the density gradient and once fermentation kicked in and began mixing it all up the SG began rising. Looks cool though and has since reached equilibrium and is dropping steadily now.

that's awesome. yeast-induced convection for the win!
