Like i said i have no idea what you are talking about and the capture was from today two minutes before i posted.

Please see the pic i posted here and please line up the post time with the time it was posted in the thread. Obviously today.

I'm not really computer literate but i'm not a fucking idiot either.

I saw your pic, however it was missing a post from the following day, i didn't bother to take a screen capture at the time because it seemed obvious and I can't do it now, sorry for trying to help.

And that wasn't the pic I refered to.

Plenty of areas for that to happen indica86 but we would like to see the technical threads in the brew shed stay close to on topic, it is designed to be a brewing resource.
The funny characters on this place make it a great place to hang out and we don't want to lose that. We also want areas that are for serious technical info, it can be a hard to balance out. The moderating team has the hard job of meeting that balance.

Maybe we can have a drunken rant forum, where the rules are somewhat relaxed and if you enter you do so at your own risk..

Both the pics i posted are still up in the post, as I said i'm not the most computer literate person out there, but if you say they are missing posts and are from the day before you should be able to just  copy and paste where i have fucked up?

I think you are making it up.

I can see it is missing on your screen.   Try forcing a full cache refresh, while holding down ctrl, press F5

As per “Repeat Breaches” within the site rules.

1st Offence PM
2nd Offence 24hr ban
3rd Offence 7 day ban
4th Offence Permanent ban

Hi bradsbrew,

In the light of seeking transparency and a review of rules/process, would I be correct in saying that you will be reviewing the process that has been followed for recent bans, etc. to ensure that the process that was taken for said bans was aligned with the rules/process that has been stated in OP.  Forgive my ignorance of how the hierarchy of forum moderation works, etc.

Cheers,
Adam

As stated earlier, this is not a discussion on recent moderation decisions. This whole process is to inform the board of how things will be managed in the future.

Thanks

I'm pleased this is being set out. Not referring to any particular event but more than a few long standing regular posters have been permabanned recently and while some have 'had it coming' others have not, and have been knocked off for what to a casual observer would be a misdemeanour. Other forums that I've been involved with in the past have had longer suspension periods than 7 days (ie a month), which was an effective way of dealing with long term members who misbehaved. It's much easier for someone to ignore the forum for a week than be cut off for a month, and from what I've seen recently it's as if people are being shot in the head for traffic infringements. Cheers.

Regarding breaches/warnings, is there "time off for good behaviour".
I am generally a pretty easy going bloke, but occasionally somebody might push the right buttons to aggravate me after nightshift. Now seeing as I dont have any warnings at this stage but I might happen to pick one up at some stage, is there a time period for the breach/warning, or does it stay there permanently.
Even driving demerit points reset after a given time period, and it seems a little harsh that breaches/warnings should stay active for excessively long time frames. Theoretically, I could banned after 4 warnings over 4 year time period.
I looked through the rules, but didnt see it mentioned anywhere.
