Hi all,

I'm fairly new to the kegging scene and I've managed to get a couple of cheap second hand 3gal corny kegs. Unfortunately I assumed all posts/disconnects were interchangeable across kegs and didn't stop to think to check it when I picked it up.

After doing a bit of research it looks like the kegs have actually been modified and a different liquid post has been welded on. I've measured the thread size (roughly 18-19mm) so it looks like a John Wood Type 85 pin lock post has been put onto the kegs, though I'm not 100% confident. As I have a fridge setup for corny kegs, ideally I'd like to be able to replace the pin lock posts with a ball lock post to easy swap out the kegs. Does anyone know where I can get the post, or if it will even be possible to get one to work with a corny ball lock disconnect? Otherwise if someone knows where I can get a suitable pin lock disconnect so I can rig up an adapter to work with the fridge.

Cheers,

Nick

I need two posts. The dip tube is actually there and doesn't seem like it's removable. It's a setup that I can't find any information on. It's sitting maybe 1.5" below the thread. In the picture of the disassembled post, the middle piece sits in the post opening and the top piece is the poppet valve.
