Right time of year to brew a few kegs of cider - I'd be in if there's a bulk buy in the works, too.

Is this an agreed upon technique? I tend to just let mine go but I've had pretty small harvests these past two years.

I have some - I'm in Kew just east of Melb. Plant is two years old but didn't do much this year compared to last. Happy to dig it up and cut some bits off.

See all my plants this year are pretty bushy down low but I've got very little up high and almost no cones to speak of. :( Maybe 20 cones on a first year cascade but both my second year plants (tetnang and willamette) are just bushy down the bottom with not a lot up top. Lots of new shoots though

Thanks for the feedback guys. Seems it's still a mystery. An APA and another keg of soda water are going into the fridge today (even gunna stubbornly use the same bloody keg) Gunna bring the Mrs' scales out here and weigh the kegs every bloody day for a week

My only guess was that it's leaking to the fridge and the fridge is sucking the moisture out of it or something. ONly got the one keg in there these last two weeks so I'm not carbing the wrong keg (they're labelled, too). What a mystery!

I don't lock my brewery so I suppose it's possible someone is coming in here walking past about $2000 of whisky, various appliances, computers, tools, audio gear, beer and just going nuts on soda water. Possible.
