    Anyone used Nano BiaBasket?

I've been looking at the Cheaky Peak Nano BIABasket setups they sell, the look pretty shiny but has anyone had experience using them? I've seen lots of people using their kettles for 3V setups, but haven't seen their All in Ones in action and am curious what the punters think. Cheers boys

Can my bitter batch be saved?

I've made a terrible mistake. I was brewing an extra special (expensive) NEIPA that called for 300g of aroma hops, 15 mins @ 80 deg. I misread the recipe, and boiled them for 15 minutes. Brewfather tells me this would give me an IBU of 186, which is just slightly higher than the intended 41...

    Purging fermenter after adding wort?

Do you guys purge the oxygen out of your fermenter immediately after first adding the wort? I oxygenate, pitch the yeast and then got to thinking, should I leave the oxygen in the head for a bit or should I be blowing it straight off? Using a fermzilla.

    Brisbane Brewer

G'day guys, Brissie brewer here, I love way too much hops and nasty high ABV ales. I'm on the bottles, I'm here to learn all I can, hopefully share some tips of my own and am looking to move to kegs in the future. Cheers!

    New or Refurbished Kegs?

G'day, I'm looking at corny kegs, it seems the best I can find in Brisbane for Refurbished is $100, and new ones are $115-130. Is it worth going refurbished when it's not much more for new? Is there a quality issue with new ones? If I went new is there anything I should be looking out for...
