the taps in the house aren't exposed to boiling acidic solution, more to the point, maybe 0.1% of the water that passes over them is used for drinking, if that.
you do raise a valid point though, lead poisoning isn't an issue for most AHBers ;)
i wont, i was very much put off HB from the first few batches. sure you can make palatable and even 'good' beer using goop cans but if you're putting in the effort that's required to make kit cans palatable, AG really isn't that much more of a jump in terms of time and effort.
he took 6.5g of hops he'd bought and stuck it to a bine.
i'm in the same boat with growing in pots, i've got about 7-8 cones, and 6 plants. they are so going in the ground this year...
you sure? i've been looking to replace my 19L BigW HLT with the old 50L kettle and use this as the new kettle to get into double batches. i don't NEED it but it would be very nice :P
1. go to anonimitynetwork.com or other VPN provider
2. set up trial account (usually lasts a few hours, more than enough time)
3. view webpage with new IP
if the difference is $1.50ish, really not worth the hassle unless you already have an account and VPN connection at the ready.
i use this...
it extends well past just books, any games i buy these days comes from steam (UK or US stores, rarely the AU store, the prices are very different) or ozgameshop.com (also a UK company).
blu-rays i usually get from amazon.co.uk, usually about 30% what they cost here and shipping is cheapish.
why not? it's not like the small quantities added would throw off the balance, what with the copious amounts of sugar it has in it.
If this really were the coca-cola recipe, i'd expect a bit more coverage on it.
i've not had that problem at all, had it refilled twice now no problems. i do think i got mine from a different seller though, so may be slightly different...
nah, nothing serious... what do you know about lead?
actually it could be feasible, anyone stupid enough to use one would probably be unaffected by lead poisining.
could be residual priming sugar, it doesn't take much, especially in such a delicately balanced beer. this is a style where there's absolutely nothing to hide your faults behind - no roasted barley, 2g/L flameout hops etc.
don't worry if your first attempt at this style (and 4th AG overall)...
